Road Trip: New
York City March 9-16, 2007
A Tradition of Serving:
Jesus calls us to serve God and neighbor, just as he modeled in his own
ministry. CSF is committed to that Jesus-kind of service. In these first two
years, we have taken 3 major trips to serve our neighbors around the country.
Two trips to the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina involved close to 30
students. Now, 22 students are scheduled for this year's spring break trip to
New York City.
We will work with and learn from a variety of ministries in Manhattan and the
other boroughs. These ministries meet basic human needs, teach children and
adults, serve impoverished communities, and share God's good news with people
from around the world who have come to New York. We will also have opportunities
to visit the United Nations, see a show on Broadway, and see the sights of the
Big Apple. Look for pictures soon!
